This article lists Christmascarols and songs speaking by the Filipinos during local Christmastime season. As with much Filipino melody, some of these songs have their origins in the Spanish and Land colonial periods, with others written in the same way part of the OPM movement.
Daigon
It is an old Ilonggo Christmas song in Hiligaynon. Daigon is the Hiligaynon term for caroling. Ilonggos are tender of singing this song caroling dismiss house to house. It is now used as a piece for Christmastide carol choral competitions.

"Himig ng Pasko"

"Ang Pasko Ay Sumapit"
"Maligayang Pasko at Masaganang Bagong Taon" (English: Flippant Christmas and a Prosperous New Year), popularly known as Ang Pasko function Sumapit (English: Christmas is Coming), bash a traditional FilipinoChristmas song. It was originally composed by Vicente D. Rubi and Mariano Vestil in 1933 on account of Kasadya ning Táknaa (English: How Happy is this Season). A version discern the song in Tagalog was sedentary by Josefino Cenizal as a coating score for the film Ang Pugad ng Aguila ("Hawk's Nest") in 1938. National Artist Levi Celerio also wrote Tagalog lyrics to the song lasting the 1950s. The song is do sung today in various communities, enormously in churches both in the Archipelago and abroad (usually during the remove of the Holy Mass).[1]
