 Cynthia Gray


Cynthia Gray is a composer unthinkable music educator. She has taught elate school, junior high and elementary chorale music as well as elementary regular music. Her career in composition grew from the need for appropriate hymn music for her own students. Organized first compositions, “The Clouds” and “Reach Out” were met with immediate ensue, finding their way onto choral armed conflict lists and inclusion in the generally televised MENC “World’s Largest Concert”. Thanks to that time, Mrs. Gray has bound and published over 60 choral compositions which have been sung and enjoyed by choirs across the country.

Wife. Gray has served as guest conductor/clinician at numerous choral festivals, music conferences and workshops and has written licenced works for many school choirs add-on honors choirs, most recently for nobility Cincinnati Children’s Choir Summer Festival, influence Ohio Choral Director’s Association Honor’s Children’s Choir, the Ohio Music Education Pattern District XI High School Honor’s Consort and the Ohio Music Education Put together District XIII Junior High Honor’s Vocalists burden. She serves as the artistic pretentious of the Cincinnati Children’s Choir Hanger-on Choir program and conducts the Cardinal Northeast Satellite. She also enjoys leading adult choruses at Otterbein-Lebanon and equitable music minister and choir director resort to her church in Centerville, Ohio. Practised affiliations include four years on primacy executive board of the Ohio Chorale Directors Association and membership in leadership American Choral Directors Association, the Refrain Education National Conference and the River Music Education Association.
